All of us have childhood memories about places we visited. I can remember visiting some beautiful places with my family when we were growing up. We didn't stay at many fancy motels or hotels, in fact our accommodations were something different all together. We took a camper down and camped somewhere outside the city, and then once or twice while we were there we would take the car into OceanCity and enjoy swimming in the ocean or the boardwalk. It was a lot of fun and as children we always felt we didn't get to go in enough.

Some of my favorite things about Ocean City besides swimming was the boardwalk. They had a lot of neat things going on there day and night, everything from games where you could win something like a cheap stuffed animal to the nightlife and several well known bars like the Purple Moose Saloon or Brass Balls. They also had the yummy boardwalk fries that were loved by so many people (and still are)

When we got older we would stay at a hotel right in OceanCity and would enjoy being close to the action all the time. We would spend hours walking up and down the boardwalk, taking in all the sights and sounds and people watching. Of course we would always look around for a cheap hotel when we were deciding on our accomadations. We may have been older but that didn't mean that we still didn't enjoy a great travel deal.

I hope that you will give Ocean City Maryland a try when you are picking your places to take a vacation. I know that for me and my family it really has left a long list of memories for us to look back over, and I'm sure it will do the same for you.
