Cheep Air Tickets - Finding Cheap Airfare Online
I have a story to tell you about a flight that I took. I was flying from New
York, NY to Miami Florida and I had found a great price on an airline ticket.
It was right around $100. I work full time on the Internet so I had my laptop
with me, writing articles. The guy in the seat next to me asked me about what
I was doing and the conversation got around to cheep air tickets. I never told
him what I paid for my tickets but he told me that he had paid almost $300 for
his, and here he was in the seat right beside me. I never did tell him that
I had saved almost $200 from what he had paid for his airline ticket.
There are a lot of ways that you can save on your ticket. Some of my favorites
are right here on the Internet, others are offline and require some footwork.
The first thing that I do when I am looking for an airline ticket is to go to
one of the flight search engines, you know the ones that I am talking about.
You enter your departure and destinations cities and your flight dates and it
looks for a cheap flight for you in real time. Within seconds you have a list
of flight options, sorted by price just waiting for you to buy. But my search
does not stop there.
You should then go directly to the airline themselves to see if they are running
some kind of unadvertised special that will save you even more on your plane
ticket. These special offers will often save you even more money and allow you
to enjoy your flight more knowing that you paid the lowest fare on the airplane.
There are a few other things that you can do such as checking to see if the
flight is overbooked, but these will be discussed in a future article. So sit
back and enjoy your discounted flight and spend your savings on something fun
when you get to your destination.
